There are paintings that hang on a wall — and paintings that hold a room still.
I came to art later in life not as a detour, but as an arrival. The place I was always moving toward without knowing it. What I found at the canvas was what I'd been carrying for years: faith that had been tested, seasons that had felt like a wilderness, and a deep conviction that beauty is not just decoration. It is a testimony. I paint florals. But they are never just florals.
Every petal holds hope, emotion and connection. Flowers can represent and say so many different things. Beneath each canvas, written into the foundation before any detail is added, is scripture. The work begins there, and it ends there, even when you cannot see it.
My training through the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program gave me technical language for what I had always done instinctively: build slowly, with intention, letting the surface reveal itself over time. That is still how I paint. And it is still, at its root, an act of faith.
I work from my home studio in Arizona, a state that taught me that nothing dry is dead. The desert blooms because it has learned to wait. My work holds that same posture patient, rooted, reaching toward light.
I show work through juried fine art festivals across the Southwest, I enjoy connecting personally. My collectors often tell me they bought a piece during a hard season and that it still speaks to them years later. That is everything.
